The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities: Air Quality Specialist Skills Subset: Ability to synthesize technical information and regulatory requirements when preparing policy documents. Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance for State Implementation Plans. Knowledge of: One or more professional disciplines, such as chemistry, toxics, statistics, economics, environmental planning, or engineering, with emphasis on its relationship to planning, rule development, or engineering activities. Skills and Albitites: Demonstrated skills and the ability to play a central role in developing air quality management plans that shape South Coast AQMD's policy and advance our clean air mission.
