Job Description:
PhD Academic Research Fellowship at the University of Idaho College of Natural Resources in collaboration with Los Alamos National Laboratory to advance bioaerosol detection, quantification, and characterization from biomass burning emissions (wildfires, prescribed fires). Join an interdisciplinary team to advance new methods for bioaerosol quantification using drones (UAVs) over wildland fires as well as laboratory experiments. The successful candidate will also advance modeling systems for prediction of smoke dispersal of microbes and exposure to human, plant, and animal populations.
