In addition to a wonderful technical program, the following events are also offered throughout the 38th Annual Conference.
Fine Particle Art Competition
Monday, October 5 – Wednesday, October 7
The third annual Fine Particle Art Competition will occur again, and will include a repeat of the popular Aerosol Video Competition as well! Entrants have submitted original pictures of their finest looking particles (microscopic scale images or larger scale) or have created a video that promotes aerosol science to a wider audience.
Monetary prizes will be awarded again this year. All attendees are invited to vote for their favorite particle art and video by Wednesday, October 7, additional details to be announced.
Meet the Job Seekers
Tuesday, October 6th, 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm EDT
The deadline to submit an abstract for the Job Seekers poster session has CLOSED.
This poster session is for job seekers to present their background and expertise to potential employers across academia, government, and industry. Open to graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and research scientists who are seeking jobs between Oct 2020 – Oct 2021 related to aerosol science.
Early Career Event | Establishing a Research Program: Strength in Flexibility
Wednesday, October 7, 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm EDT
A panel of four speakers will offer their unique perspectives on research funding, building research teams, and adapting and balancing business and professional responsibilities in the face of uncertainty. Created especially for those early in their career.
