Executive Chef, Mark Ching, came to Hyatt Regency Atlanta in January 2002 after twenty three years with Hyatt hotels. Ching estimates that he has created one thousand dishes during his career. He likes to combine fruits with chilies in dishes. He describes the layers of sensations to the taste buds and the sweet and spicy effect to be "startling." Ching enjoys combining flavors from different cultures and cuisines, (Italian cuisine is his favorite place to start.)

Located beneath the famous blue dome atop the hotel this revolving restaurant and lounge provides a panoramic view of Atlanta .
